Replace every ________ and [bracketed] field with your own details before sending. The Rs. 10 fee is for Central public authorities; some States charge a different amount — check the Fee Calculator.

How to use it

  • Use your File Number / ARN from the passport acknowledgement.
  • If the hold-up is police verification, a parallel RTI to the local police station helps.
  • This can be filed online at rtionline.gov.in (Ministry of External Affairs is central).
