📌 Check Your Complaint Status via RTI – Format & Timeline (2025)

Have you submitted a complaint to a government department — but received no reply? Whether it's a civic grievance, service delay, or regulatory issue, you have the right to seek transparency through RTI.

The Right to Information (RTI) Act, 2005 empowers you to:

✅ What You Can Ask Under RTI:

  • Ask for status of your complaint or grievance

  • Request the action taken report (ATR)

  • Know which officer/department handled your case

  • Demand the file movement timeline and remarks
    ''Apply Now''

🎯 When to File RTI for Complaint Status

Use RTI if:

  • Your complaint has been pending for more than 15–30 days

  • You received a generic acknowledgment but no further update

  • The grievance portal (like CPGRAMS, Praja Vaani, etc.) is not updating

  • You want accountability from the officer or department
