2. The name and designation of the officer responsible for resolving the said complaint.
3. The sanctioned timeline and budget for the said work, if any.
4. The reasons for the delay in resolving the complaint.
5. Copies of the file notings and the action-taken report on the complaint.
I am a citizen of India. I am enclosing the application fee of Rs. 10 by Indian Postal Order (or as per the prescribed mode of the office). [If you hold a BPL card: I am below the poverty line and attach a copy of my BPL card; no fee is payable.] Kindly provide the above information within 30 days as required under the RTI Act, 2005.

How to use it

  • Name the exact location and your complaint number for a specific reply.
  • Asking for "file notings" shows how the complaint was actually handled.
  • For illegal construction, also ask whether the building has a sanctioned plan.
