Still stuck? Put it on record with an RTI
TGSPDCL is a public authority - its RTI Act Section 4(1)(b) manual (on its website) covers its officers and functions. An RTI to the PIO of your operation circle can request the complaint docket, action taken and recorded reasons.
- The present status of complaint/service request number [YOUR NUMBER] registered against service number (UKSCNO) [YOUR UKSCNO], and the officer or section it is pending with.
- The action taken on the complaint as per the record, including any work order raised and its present status.
- If the complaint was closed, the date of closure and the reasons recorded.
- If the complaint concerns billing, the basis of the billing for the disputed period as per the record.
Under Section 7(1) of the RTI Act, the PIO is ordinarily required to respond within 30 days.
If the RTI reply does not arrive or is unsatisfactory, a First Appeal lies with the First Appellate Authority of the same public authority within 30 days.
We identify the likely record-holding public authority and frame the record-trail questions around your registration number.
