How filing works

  3. Attach the Rs. 10 fee (commonly an Indian Postal Order; BPL applicants attach the certificate).
  4. Keep a photo or photocopy of the full application and fee instrument.
  5. Send it by Speed Post / registered post and keep the receipt; the PIO must respond within 30 days.
