CPENGRAMS pension grievance delayed? Do this next
You registered a pension grievance on CPENGRAMS quoting your PPO, and it is pending past the target dates or was closed without the pension issue being fixed. Use the official route below first, then RTI for the file trail.
First, make sure the official route is exhausted
Still stuck? Put it on record with an RTI
If the pension grievance stays unresolved past its stated timelines, an RTI can request the file movement and recorded reasons - addressed to the CPIO of the government office holding that stage (former department/Head of Office for sanction, Pay & Accounts Office, or CPAO for authorization records). Monthly-payment problems: use the bank's complaint route first and RBI CMS if unresolved; RTI applies only where the bank is a public authority, and only for records it holds.
- The present status of the pension matter connected to grievance registration number [YOUR NUMBER] and PPO [YOUR PPO], and the officer or desk it is pending with.
- The dates of movement of the pension sanction/revision file, with copies of the file movement record.
- The reasons recorded for the delay or for closure of the grievance.
- A copy of the action-taken report recorded against the grievance registration number.
Under Section 7(1) of the RTI Act, the PIO is ordinarily required to respond within 30 days.
If the RTI reply does not arrive or is unsatisfactory, a First Appeal lies with the First Appellate Authority of the same public authority within 30 days.
We identify the likely record-holding public authority and frame the record-trail questions around your registration number.
